School Shoots – to promote new members without intimidation
Pro/Am – Support of school shoot philosophy
Finale – Make up your own team structure
Points – One point per fish & one point per pound
Duration – 9:00 am until 2:00 pm
Game fish – No more than (2) taken per Spearo (only one over 20”)
Wyoming - (10) plus gamefish – see Wyoming regs
Utah - Check species limits per 2008 Utah Fishing Guide
Carp – Unlimited
Utah Sucker – Unlimited
Protected species – Absolutely None
Record weight & Record documentation – Free Help & Info
Pot Luck BBQ – All shoots where practical
Trophies – Are being provided by Bruce Boyd – Please thank him
Finale – Lots of Great prizes and trophies
Finale – Total points from best four (4) shoots (100% rule applies on event stats)
Weight measurement - Certified scales will be at all shoots

Weigh in
Mike McGuire’s heart sank when he opened up his hatch; he had shot an illegal sized parrotfish. He could leave the small fish in his kayak or cast it away in the ocean. He didn't. Consequently, Mike was disqualified at a great cost; giving up first place in the mixed doubles, third over-all in the men’s division, and a chance to qualify for the next Worlds Meet. Mike’s comment was succinct: (clearly stated in few words) “In the end you have to be able to look at yourself in the mirror”. Sportsmanship and honestly like Mike’s wasn't universal; in the men’s division two major protests were lodged because some competitors accused other competitors of releasing fish in order to increase their scores.
